tips for a great onboarding:

• steer the conversation — talk about whatever matters to you. your work or studies, what excites you, what stresses you out, your routines, your people.
• go deep — details matter. don't just say "I'm busy" — say why, with what, and how it feels.
• aim for 3–15 minutes — 3 min minimum so buddy has enough to work with. 5–10 is the sweet spot.
• be yourself — buddy adapts to your vibe. casual, reflective, whatever feels right.
